SmileTiger eTraining Server is an online training software system that
provides virtual classroom service. It features stduent/teacher account
management, video conferencing, VoIP audio conferencing, remote PowerPoint
presentation, application sharing, application remote control, whiteboard,
web tour, local file pushing, instant messaging, and other collaboration
functions.
The software is designed for the complex
Internet/Intranet environment. The communication
passes all firewall and proxies without the need of
any configuration. It works perfectly with both
broadband connection and dialup connection.
The software is designed to support large groups. It
is reliable and scalable to support thousands of
concurrent users for large corporations.
The software provides rich business logic for multiple
collaboration scenarios. It can be dynamically
configured to different service modes.
The software comes with strong security mechanism and
access control functions. All communication is
encrypted and a strong authentication mechanism is
used for conference login. A web-based admin tool
gives system administrator the capability to assign
accurate access privileges for a subnet, or a specific
computer.
The software can be seamlessly integrated with the
existed corporate websites and database/directory
systems.
The deployment of the client software is simple and
fast. The client software is automatically installed
or updated to the client machine within seconds for a
broadband connection or minutes for a dialup
connection when a user enters a conference using a
browser.
